About Meals With Sisters
We're Safa and Sarah, two sisters from Massachusetts who grew up in a home where the kitchen was the heart of everything - warm ovens, laughter, and plates passed around the table.
What started as weekend cooking sessions with family has grown into Meals With Sisters - our cozy corner of the internet where we share approachable, flavorful recipes made for real life.
We launched this site in 2025 with one simple dream: to make everyday cooking joyful, stress-free, and filled with heart.
💕 Our Story
We both took different paths before finding our way back to the kitchen.
Safa - Founder & Creative Director
Safa began her career as a registered nurse at The Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus, where she saw firsthand how food and wellness go hand-in-hand. After moving to Richmond, Massachusetts, she turned her lifelong love for cooking into a new journey studying culinary fundamentals and recipe development at local community workshops and online programs.
Today, she brings her medical background and creative energy together to develop recipes that nourish body and soul. Safa writes, photographs, and tests every dish that appears on Meals With Sisters - ensuring each one is reliable, realistic, and full of flavor.
Sarah - Co-Founder & Editor
Sarah's path started in education and digital media. She worked as a family-and-consumer-sciences instructor at a local Massachusetts school, helping students learn about healthy living, home cooking, and nutrition on a budget. Her experience teaching real families how to make food fun and affordable became the inspiration behind many of our practical, weeknight recipes.
Now, she manages content strategy, edits articles, and connects with our readers making sure our community always feels like family.
Together, we combine care and creativity one sister focused on nourishment and balance, the other on storytelling and connection to bring real, tested recipes to your table.
