Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13 inch pan or line it with parchment paper. prep
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. mix
  3. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and regular sugar until light and fluffy. mix
  4. Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and maple extract to the butter mixture, mixing well. mix
  5. Mix in the sour cream and milk until everything is well incorporated. mix
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. mix
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it out evenly. assemble
  8. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool completely before glazing. bake
  9. To make the glaze: Whisk together the powdered sugar, melted butter, maple syrup, and maple extract in a bowl. mix
  10. Add milk gradually, one tablespoon at a time, until the glaze is smooth and pourable. mix
  11. Spread the glaze evenly over the cooled bars, allowing it to set before cutting them into squares or rectangles. finish
