Ingredients
  

  • 1 packet Instant ramen noodles - Any flavor
  • ½ packet Seasoning packet - Adjust to taste
  • 1 clove Garlic - Minced, or ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh ginger - Minced, or pinch ground ginger
  • 1 Egg - Fresh
  • 1 teaspoon Soy sauce - To taste
  • ½ teaspoon Sesame oil - Add at end
  • 1 dash Hot sauce / chili flakes - Optional
  • ½ cup Spinach / greens - Fresh or frozen
  • ½ cup Cooked chicken/pork - Leftover, shredded
  • ½ cup Frozen vegetables - Peas, corn, carrots
  • ¼ cup Mushrooms - Sliced
  • 2 tablespoon Corn - Fresh or frozen
  • 1 Green onion - Chopped, for topping

Equipment

  • 1 Saucepan (Medium, with lid)
  • 1 Knife (Sharp, for chopping)
  • 1 Ladle/Spoon (Large, for serving)
  • 1 Small bowl (For cracking eggs)
  • 1 Chopsticks/Fork (For eating)

Method
 

  1. Boil 2 cups water in a medium saucepan. Add ½ seasoning packet. Stir in garlic and ginger. Simmer 2–3 minutes.

  2. Add ramen noodles to simmering broth. Cook 2 minutes. Crack egg into small bowl, pour in. Stir gently.

  3. Remove from heat. Stir in soy sauce and sesame oil. Add meat/vegetables. Top with green onions and hot sauce. Serve immediately.
