Ingredients
  

  • 2 6- oz. pieces skin-on Atlantic salmon fresh or thawed if using frozen
  • 1 lemon sliced in half
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil for brushing
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt for seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper freshly cracked

Method
 

  1. In a small bowl, combine the vegetable oil, sea salt, and black pepper. mix
  2. Brush both the salmon fillets and lemon halves with the oil mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated. prep
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the grill, skin side down, and the lemon halves cut side down. Grill for about 6 minutes. cook
  4. Flip the salmon fillets and the lemon halves. Continue grilling for another 4 minutes or until the salmon reaches an internal temperature of about 135°F. cook
  5. Remove the salmon and lemon from the grill. Let the salmon rest for a few minutes, during which time it will continue to cook and reach the ideal internal temperature of 145°F. finish
