Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lb Sirloin steak - Or chuck roast, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • to taste Salt & black pepper - For seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil - For searing
  • 4 tablespoon Butter - Unsalted preferred
  • 3 cloves Garlic - Minced
  • 2 sprigs Fresh thyme or rosemary - For flavor
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice - Freshly squeezed
  • optional Worcestershire sauce - Flavor boost
  • optional Red pepper flakes - Heat
  • optional Fresh parsley - For garnish
  • optional Parmesan cheese - For serving

Equipment

  • 1 Cast iron skillet (Best for high-heat searing)
  • 1 Sharp knife (For cutting steak into cubes)
  • 1 Cutting board (Large enough for meat prep)
  • 1 Tongs (Flip steak without piercing)
  • Some Paper towels (Pat steak dry before cooking)

Method
 

  1. Cut steak into 1-inch chunks, pat dry, season with salt and pepper

  2. Heat cast iron skillet until smoking, add oil
  3. Sear steak in single layer, cook 2–3 min, flip once
  4. Lower heat, add butter, garlic, and herbs
