Ingredients
  

  • Monkey Bread:
  • 2 cans biscuit dough Any variety of refrigerated biscuit dough
  • ¼ cup brown sugar Light or dark brown sugar
  • cup ground cinnamon For the cinnamon-sugar coating
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar For sweetness and texture
  • ¾ cup butter Use ½ cup butter for a lighter option
  • Simple Glaze:
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar To add a sweet finishing touch
  • 1 tablespoon milk To achieve a smooth glaze consistency

Method
 

  1. Roll each dough piece into a small ball, about 3 tablespoons per ball. prep
  2. Grease a deep-dish loaf pan with butter, or use a bundt pan as an alternative. prep
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the cinnamon and granulated sugar, stirring to mix. mix
  4. Roll each dough ball in the cinnamon-sugar mixture, ensuring full coverage. prep
  5. Layer the dough balls in the prepared pan, sprinkling ⅛ cup of brown sugar over the first layer. assemble
  6. Continue layering the dough balls and sprinkling brown sugar on each layer until the pan is full. assemble
  7. Melt the butter and pour it evenly over the dough balls before baking. assemble
  8. Sprinkle some of the leftover cinnamon-sugar mixture on top of the dough. assemble
  9. Bake the monkey bread at 350°F for about 40 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. bake
  10. While the bread is baking, mix the powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl to make the glaze. prep
  11. Once baked, pour the glaze over the warm monkey bread just before serving. finish
