Ingredients
  

  • 2 lb. chicken breasts boneless, skinless, cut into cubes, about 3 large breasts
  • 1 medium onion diced, about 290g, 2 cups
  • 8 oz. mushrooms cleaned and sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly cracked
  • 1 cup chicken broth use Better Than Bouillon for cost savings
  • 8 oz. cream cheese cubed
  • ½ lb. spaghetti uncooked
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Place the cubed chicken, onions, mushrooms, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, pepper, and chicken broth into the crockpot. Stir to combine, cover, and cook on high for 4 hours. cook
  2. After 4 hours, break the uncooked spaghetti into halves and add it to the crockpot. Gently stir and press the pasta down to fully submerge it in the liquid. prep
  3. Cube the cream cheese and place it on top of the chicken and pasta. Cover and cook on low for an additional 30 minutes. cook
  4. After 30 minutes, stir the mixture thoroughly to combine the melted cream cheese into the sauce. cook
  5. Cover the crockpot again, turn off the heat, and let it sit for 5 minutes to ensure the noodles are cooked through. finish
  6. Plate the chicken tetrazzini and garnish with grated Parmesan and fresh parsley. finish
