🐔 For the Chicken
  • 1.5 lbs Chicken thighs or breasts - Boneless cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour - Can substitute gluten-free blend
  • ½ cup Cornstarch - Adds extra crispiness
  • 2 Eggs - Beaten
  • 1 cup Buttermilk - Or milk + 1 tablespoon vinegar

  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper

  • ½ teaspoon Paprika - Smoked or regular
🌶️ For the Bang Bang Sauce
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise - Full-fat for best flavor
  • ¼ cup Sweet chili sauce - Or orange marmalade variation
  • 1 –2 tbsp Sriracha - Adjust for heat level
  • 1 tablespoon Rice vinegar - Adds tang
  • 1 tablespoon Honey - Or maple syrup/brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon Garlic powder - Optional for extra kick
🧈 For Frying
  • As needed Vegetable oil - Enough for deep or shallow fry

Method
 

  1. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and set up your coating stations.

  4. Fry chicken twice until golden, resting briefly between each fry.
