  • 12 oz Graham crackers - Crushed into fine crumbs
  • ½ cup Butter - Melted
  • ¼ cup Sugar - For crust

  • 2 tbsp butter Butter - For cooking apples
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice Lemon juice - For apple topping
  • ½ cup Caramel sauce - For drizzling on top

Method
 

  1. Crush graham crackers into fine crumbs. Mix with melted butter and sugar. Press into the bottom of a 9x13-inch pan. Bake for about 10 minutes. Set aside to cool.

  2. Peel and dice the apples into small pieces. Cook them with brown sugar, cinnamon, and butter until soft but not mushy (about 8-10 minutes). Set aside to cool completely.

  3. Beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, then eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Mix in vanilla and sour cream. Pour over the cooled crust.

  4. Spoon the cooked apples evenly over the cheesecake layer. Bake for about 40 minutes or until the center is almost set. Let it cool completely, then drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
