Ingredients
Method
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. prep
- If the chicken breasts are thick, use a meat tenderizer or a rolling pin to flatten them to an even ¾-1-inch thickness (placing them in a Ziplock bag before pounding is optional). prep
- In a small bowl, mix the white pepper with 1 cup of Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts, then place the breasts in the prepared baking dish. prep
- In another bowl, whisk together the Caesar dressing and sour cream until smooth. Pour this mixture evenly over the chicken breasts. mix
- Sprinkle the remaining ¾ cup of Parmesan cheese evenly on top of the chicken breasts. assemble
- Crush the croutons into small crumbs, then melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Mix the croutons with the butter to coat them evenly. assemble
- Spread the crouton mixture evenly over the Parmesan cheese on the chicken breasts. assemble
- Bake the chicken for 20-30 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F) and the crouton topping is golden brown. If the top gets too dark, loosely cover the dish with foil. bake
- Once baked, remove from the oven and allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley before serving. finish
